| Amye L. Thompson MBA, PFS A Special Fit Inc. P.O. Box 35133 Dallas, Texas 75235 A Dallas Native and proud Texan, Amye received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University where she worked with the TAMU Women’s Athletic Department in event management and was instrumental in planning the first Big-Twelve Conference events held on the campus. She later received a Master of Business Administration Degree in Human Resources from the University of Dallas while working for Verizon Telecommunications in absence management. Amye received a Physical Fitness Certification from the Cooper Institute, where she first realized the need for fitness education in the southern sector of Dallas. Amye has a special ability and pure passion for motivating and coaching individuals to give and be their best. She has successfully encouraged many overweight and obese individuals to begin and continue healthier eating habits and more active lifestyles. Amye has successfully founded a community-based organization that strives to educate the hard to reach individuals about the importance of a healthy diet and active lifestyle and the positive impact these things have on disease prevention and overall wellness. Amye has had the opportunity to work with a vast array of clients from Fortune 500 accounting firms to religious and civic organizations. She will continue to be a champion for the overweight and obese in the southern sector of Dallas for many years to come. RESUME MISSION STATEMENT Grass-roots, community-based organization that strives to educate the community about the positive affects of adopting exercise and eating habits that promote complete wellness and lessens the chances of suffering from many of the preventable diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart disease. The organization will strive to bring exercise to the people who have historically been least likely to experience it.
